Bayesian Analysis being relatively new topic for me , I felt that the basics were very well covered that helped to understand the more complex problem that were discussed later in the session. The flow of the topic was especially good. One thing that was intriguing was the fact that I understood that 2 different methods may not always lead to mathematically different solutions. It is the change in the approach that makes classical and a Bayesian school of thought different. Easy to understand materials were shared after each session, that further helped to clarify the doubts . The codes discussed and shared in the session helped to understand Rstan more effectively. Will surely go through the materials, recorded sessions to gain further proficiency .Enjoyed the last two weeks thoroughly."

"It was a very well structured and delivered training program. The explanations were generally easy to follow and reproduce. Highly enjoyable and instructive. Assignments were all relevant. This training took me from brief to advance level concepts of bayesian statistics and methods. For eg: The MCMC session, it helped my understanding if we had to fit a Bayesian model to a dataset from scratch with our own implementation. I would like to thank the instructors for this great training. This was definitely not an easy topic. But the learning was immense. The concepts and techniques would be hard to access without his expert guidance. Finally, I can say that Bayesian is not easy but not impossible and looking forward to practice it more to learn it more. 2. This was a highly interactive course with an expert in Bayesian Statistics who provided a very interesting and detailed introduction to the subject. I really appreciate and like the step by step approach adopted by Sir to introduce Bayesian Statistics and drew our attention towards it. The progression of the course was also very smooth. Although I had some exposure to Bayesian statistics earlier but the course has indeed developed my interest in this area. The detailed theoretical explanation of the concepts and their implementation through an example was a perfect combination to understand the overall topic. Also Sir responded to all queries and supported whenever needed. The course helped me understand different approaches (Bayesian and classical) in statistics and provided hands-on experience in using R software ( R stan). However, Sir started with very basic concept with simple example and he gradually pickup the level of its complexity. And when we discuss that if the examples are from clinical domain then he really took real problem from clinical domain and we can able to relate how we can use Bayesian application in our study analysis. The material was informative and the examples taken were very interesting and the discussions were truly inspiring (Specifically where in you have asked the questions ). I particularly enjoyed the DAY 1 and the initial set of days of trainings conducted. For me I could say there is shift from baseline score for me it was just “Know how of Bayesian” to 2 weeks data is to “I know Bayesian”. Again It would have been very much productive if I would have practised the examples more on which were provided during the sessions, which I lagged due to project deliverables any ways I will practice it whenever I get time. Thanks for always engaging and enhancing my skills. I will definitely work more on this topic whenever I have time. Lastly kindly thank Sir on my behalf for giving us so much knowledge with the Bayesian a complex analysis. After his sessions I started feeling this complex topic to be interesting, I would open with you I have kept this chapter “Bayesian” to be optional in my Master. First of all, thanks a lot for arranging such a wonderful training course, I personally feel it’s a very good opportunity given to the whole biostatistics team for our personal development. I have not experienced such wonderful training in my journey so far either in Pharma or in CRO. The training was absolutely superb and I thoroughly enjoyed each and every day’s session. [missing it from today☹]. The content what sir presented was extremely informative with the just right mix of theory and practical, along with the exercises with supplied R codes which helped me to practice with my limited knowledge in R. I have attended several trainings before but I can't recall any of them having such a strong impact on me. I truly appreciate the efforts of the trainer. Overall it is much more than my expectations, I am very much satisfied and got my fuel for my next journey"

The topic was very good with lot of details. Some initial roadmap for the whole journey was needed for those who are very new to Bayesian but overall it was fantastic. The trainer covered the basics with some thoughtful examples, which I appreciate very much. The examples were really helpful and more such examples from clinical data could have helped more. The supplied training materials are also very informative, though I couldn’t read all of them.

Presentation skills was really fantastic, the trainer was very particular on choosing the right word, questions from the trainer was very thought-provoking, the demonstration was really helpful with examples and R codes. Very nicely presented the classical and Bayesian school of thoughts and linked them wherever needed. Few topics were little heavy for me, like Fixed/ Mixed effect model and where we needed some more time from the trainer but he had to complete due to time constraint. I think one or two days more were needed for the last few topics.
